Much of the Village of Aurora is in the Aurora/Wells College Dual Historic District, and the Village Archives reflect this, being particularly strong in documentary and visual resources on the built environment. Notable collections also concern the Cayuga (Lake) Academy, Dr. Albert Leffingwell, and Edwin B. and Charlotte Morgan. Many other families are also covered, along with the churches, businesses, and the growing collection on Wells College.
